Introduction

Dealer Software Solutions, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Bridge, a Chrome extension that syncs deal data from Toyota MST Console to CDK F&I systems. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our extension.

Data We Process

Deal Data

When the extension syncs a deal, it processes:

  • Customer information (name, contact details)
  • Vehicle information (VIN, make, model, year, pricing)
  • Deal structure (pricing, trade-in details, financing terms)

Important: CDK Bridge acts as a pass-through. Deal data is captured from MST and sent directly to CDK. We do not store deal data on our servers — it flows directly between Toyota and CDK systems.

Extension Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the extension, including:

  • Number of syncs performed
  • Error rates and types
  • Extension version information

How Data Flows

The extension operates as follows:

  1. Captures deal data from Toyota MST Console in your browser
  2. Transforms the data to CDK-compatible format locally
  3. Sends the transformed data directly to CDK via authenticated SOAP APIs

Deal data is processed locally in your browser and transmitted directly to CDK. It does not pass through our servers.

Data Security

We implement security measures including:

  • Local Processing: Deal data is processed in your browser, not on external servers
  • Secure Transmission: All API calls to CDK use authenticated, encrypted connections
  • CDK Certification: The extension meets CDK Global's security and certification requirements
  • No Data Storage: We do not store customer or deal data

Chrome Extension Permissions

The extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

  • Host Permissions: Access to Toyota MST Console pages to read deal data
  • Storage: To save your preferences and sync settings locally
  • Background Service Worker: To manage sync operations

Third-Party Services

The extension interacts with:

  • Toyota MST Console: Source of deal data (your dealership's existing Toyota system)
  • CDK Global: Destination for synced deal data (your dealership's existing DMS)

Both systems are already used by your dealership. The extension simply bridges data between them.

Your Rights

Since we don't store deal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete from our systems. Your deal data resides in Toyota and CDK systems, which are managed by your dealership.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the extension or our website.
